Tich.
Absolutely its a great substitute to MS's offering.
BUT it will not use the macros created in office. I have not had open office long enough to have written an appropriate macro for it so if you want to use my excel template's macro button you will not be able to.
I will do this soon, however you can still use the format on the second sheet to send to me for inclusion in the database.
If anyone has any software problems for using the files I have created please PM me I CAN help you out.
Yours

A macro is a custom writen function attached to the file.
In the case of the Excel sheet, it takes the pasted data from Yell and converts it into the format required for the mail merge and the database.

Please bear with me.

I don't know why I didn't pick this one up before (Belinda posted this weeks ago)
Belinda, do you know what the name of this Cambridgeshire bar was and where exactly it was located? I can't be far away so I'd like to pay it a visit... |

I do know Grantchester (subject of that famous Rupert Brooke poem), and it's not that far from me really. I'll pop down there this weekend. How keen did they sound? Would they appreciate a poster or two? |
